How it works on iPhone

1

Import the set

Pull a long recording from Photos or Files. An hour-long session is normal.

2

Approve the mixes

Mix Snip suggests song changes and transitions. From that same list you can export the whole set as MP3 — trim the ends if you want — or confirm clips.

3

Export clips or the set MP3

9:16 · 1080p for TikTok, Reels and Shorts. Or a 192 kbps MP3 of the full recording for SoundCloud and Mixcloud. You post the files yourself.

Requirements

  • iPhone running iOS 17 or later
  • A DJ set recording you have the right to use

Same Mix Snip account as Mac. Download Mix Snip for Mac.

FAQ

What is Mix Snip for iPhone?

An iPhone app that imports a long DJ set recording from Photos or Files, suggests transitions, and lets you export vertical clips. From the same transitions list you can also export the full set as MP3. You approve every cut.

Can I export the whole set as MP3?

Yes. On the transitions screen — and later on the clips list — you can export the full recording as 192 kbps MP3 for SoundCloud, Mixcloud, and other audio hosts. Trim the start and end if you want to cut dead air. Mix Snip does not post the file for you.

When can I download it?

What iPhones does it need?

iOS 17 or later.

Does it upload my set to the cloud?

No. Analysis and export run on your iPhone. The recording stays on that device.
